Owner & Founder
Rose D'Angelo
She is an interior designer with a foundation in real estate, giving her a unique understanding of how spaces truly function, flow, and support the people who live and work in them. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Mercy College and a degree in Fine Arts & Interior Design from Berkeley College, she blends behavioral insight with creative expertise to design environments that feel intuitive, efficient, and beautifully aligned with real life. Over the years, she has developed a specialty in space planning and organization - analyzing circulation patterns, maximizing square footage, and shaping layouts that make daily routines smoother and more enjoyable. Her organizational systems are tailored, sustainable, and designed to help clients feel more grounded and in control of their homes.
Blending market insight with thoughtful design, she creates spaces that are not only aesthetically refined but strategically planned. Every inch has purpose, and every detail supports a life that feels calmer, clearer, and more intentional.
Principal Architect
Thomas McDermott
Thomas McDermott, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, is a Somers‑based architect and the Principal Architect of McDermott Architecture, where he leads residential and commercial projects with a focus on thoughtful design, technical precision, and client‑centered collaboration. As a LEED Accredited Professional, he brings a strong commitment to sustainable design, integrating environmentally responsible strategies, energy‑efficient systems, and long‑lasting material choices into every project. A graduate of the New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technology, he offers more than two decades of experience spanning project management, custom residential work, and small‑scale commercial design. His background includes senior roles at CPG Architects and Lothrop Associates, along with extensive hands‑on expertise in drafting, construction detailing, and field coordination. Through McDermott Architecture PLLC, he blends architectural and interior design services to guide clients through every phase of the process, creating spaces that are functional, visually compelling, and grounded in sustainable, forward‑thinking design principles.
